World Congress 2014 wins award

The XX World Congress on Safety and Health at Work 2014 has won the BlachReport Event Award 2015 in the Corporate Event category. The contributions of the DGUV and of 3c Creative Communication Concepts GmbH in their capacities of event organizer and consulting agency respectively comfortably beat all other entrants for the nomination, receiving 45.04 out of 50 possible points. Never before in the history of the BEA Awards have so many points been awarded in this category.

Innovative, fascinating, stimulating: those were the impressions of the participants, almost 4,000 in number, in the Congress with a difference. With novel forms of dialogue and event formats, through motivation and communication, and with relaxation and recreation included, the World Congress for Safety and Health at Work 2014 became a sustainable experience for all those attending it.

The individual elements of the Congress programme were closely interlinked and followed a common thread throughout. Innovative presentations in the plenary sessions and the symposia were developed in advance with the aid of a toolbox, in conjunction with the speakers and other active participants. Diverse media concepts were created and co-ordinated on the LED panel in the plenary sessions and on up to 20 projection screens in the symposia. The design of the International Media Festival for Prevention impressed participants with its authentic cinema theatre atmosphere. In the Forum for Prevention, mobile elements provided opportunities for liquid and solid refreshment, discussions and exchanging of views between experts, networking, resting and even dancing, without the need to move between rooms. And no less importantly, the comprehensive video, image and textual documentation of the event in a database set new standards for a sustainable Congress, for all participants.
